STEAM DISCOVERY SUMMER CAMP
This 8 week summer series is loaded with tons of hands on fun! Join us on as we explore the gift of discovery...the STEAM way! TYBP Summer Camp 2024 is a mash up of new curriculum of STEAM exploration each week through experiential learning with hands-on activities, and active play.
Our differentiated approach creates an inclusive experience that is sure to meet the needs of all types of campers. We promise to get silly, messy, creative in this dynamic & magical exploration of self discovery!
Allow TYBP to ignite the curiosity of STEAM learning in your child. You drop off we will do the rest!
OPERATIONS:
- Weekly camp sessions beginning June 24th and ends August 16th
- Sign up for as little as 1 week or take advantage of our 4 week bundle packages.
TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED: Pick up & drop off @ locations w/the greatest need
- Columbia Heights Rec Center Playground
- Tyler Elementary School Front Entrance (tentatively)
- Pick up begins at 8:30 am
- Drop Off begins at
- 3:00 pm (full day)
- 4:15 pm (extended day)

AFTERSCHOOL STEAM COLLABORATORY
Our afterschool clubs & specialized workshops provide inquisitive minds a safe space to make their imaginations come to life, conquer fears, and excel in the wonderful world of STEAM!
Our team is made up of passionate educators who are dedicated to helping students build confidence, develop grit, and challenge the unknown using a variety of inquiry based STEAM challenges.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- ACTION - REFLECTION- REAL WORLD APPLICATION. Learning can be fun and doesn't end after the bell. That is why we use the city as our classroom. We believe in the "it take a village" motto; understanding that children learn best from each other through play creating equitable balance to school age children from all backgrounds.
- We partner with DCPS to provide STEAM enrichment to schools current afterschool programs. Please check with your childs school for details
