Let me introduce myself to the communities I want and continue to serve. My name is Jennifer Mack, I am an accomplished Educational Specialist with over 13 years of education industry experience. I began my professional career in education by tutoring math to elementary-high school students and assisting deployed military personnel with their studies. Early in my career, I realized the huge intrinsic reward I felt when helping people academically succeed and grow. Shortly thereafter I switched professions to pursue my true ambitions; to teach, uplift, and inspire to promote change.
I am a graduate of George Washington, George Mason, and Temple Universities’, and hold an EdS in Academic Leadership & Administration, MEd in General Education K-12 & Special Education, a BA in Human Resource Management, as well as certifications in Education Administration & Leadership and Mathematics.
I have served many leadership roles in my specialty to include the Director of an Extended Learning Program, Director of Special Education at public charter schools and Assistant Principal during summer school enrichment for the 20 - 21 school year at DC Public Schools. Additionally, I have taught early childhood, second grade, middle school, high school, and adult education, specializing in mathematics. I am currently a Math Department Head at DC Public Schools.
The welfare of students has always been my number one priority. I am most passionate about building students' confidence, self-esteem, and trust. We have all been through some unprecedented times over the last couple of years, as a result, I acknowledge that some pupils have faced negative experiences during their educational journey. However, I am prepared to motivate students to believe in themselves, regardless of their past experiences, life challenges, and lack of prior knowledge. I accept that there's no "one size fits all" approach in education, hence why The Train Your Brain Project exists. We are an inclusive program that provides equitable access to quality STEAM programs in efforts to increase inquiry in STEAM related fields.
Lastly but certainly not least, I am the proud mother of three beautiful children. During my free time I enjoy exploring the beautiful bike trails in the DC Metropolitan area with my family; one of my favorite bike rides is through Anacostia Park, located in SE Washington, DC. Some of my favorite things is to remember to laugh, be spontaneous, and travel internationally to learn about new cultures. My biggest long-term goal is to visit all seven wonders of the world (two down, five to go). During the fall im cheering on my favorite football team, The Philadelphia Eagles. E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!
I look forward to providing your children with a unique experience in STEAM related activities while promoting family / community engagement, and most of all FUN!

I have a passion for giving back to my community, so as an alumnus of Ballou, I became a part of youth athletics program for several years. During my tenure, I served as the interim athletic director, girls varsity basketball and flag football coach, leading to 4 championships appearances and 2 championship victories. One of my greatest accomplishments was being honored as “Community Coach of The Year” and featured on Fox 5 News.
Lastly, as a Washingtonian Go-Go Music has played a significant role in my life. That is why in 2017, I founded and launched Go-Go Royalty, LLC. Go-Go Royalty symbolizes the origin of Go-Go Music and is a representation of my beliefs for my community, family, and self; standing tall for the culture, striving for excellence, constant creativity, with historical preservation.
