SPARK! Early Learning Academy

We are the passport to FUN for the weekend! Jumpstart your child’s day by joining us Saturday mornings from 10 - 11:30 am for ooh's, ahh's, snaps, crackles, and pops! The Collaboratory promotes a joyful environment for a diverse group of learners ages 3.5 - 10.

• Purpose: Children unite for a dynamic morning of STEAM challenges that explore unique hands-on experiences, spark creativity, encourage self-expression, and bring STEAM projects to life.

• What will my child do? From chemical reactions that snap, crackle, fizzle, and pop to unusual concoctions that glow and designs that shoot across the room, our interactive hands-on activities will bring out the "oohs and aahs" and are sure to pique the interest of all types of learners.

• Do parents have to be present for my child to participate? Absolutely not, we can assure you that your child is in great hands, so parents please use this as an opportunity to run a few errands or take a simple self-care break on Saturday morning without the kiddos.

• Do I have to sign up for an entire session: This Summer we are offering 2 sessions. Each session is conducted over the course of 4 weeks for a total of 4 Saturdays per session. Although, we highly encourage parents to sign up for an entire session to maximize your child experience, we do offer a daily drop-in rate which allows you to sign up for as little or as many colLaboratory classes as you like.

•  Who leads the workshops? All of our workshops are facilitated by educators who are committed to prioritizing a personable and compassionate approach to kids' entrepreneurial spirit as they set goals, dedicate time to learn & develop a new craft from start to finish.

• Goal: By the end of each workshop students will have used innovative ways to demonstrate the design & creation of a product, while identifying its contributions to their own and / or surrounding communities.
